Xiaomi announced the Redmi K60 series last December, consisting of three smartphones: Redmi K60, Redmi K60E and Redmi K60 Pro. Today, a fourth member of the lineup is added, dubbed Redmi K60 Ultra.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is powered by the Dimensity 9200+ SoC, boots MIUI 14 and comes with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The K60 Ultra packs a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2,712 x 1,220 pixels) 12-bit display with 2,600 nits peak brightness and 2,880 Hz PWM dimming.
The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, and Xiaomi says the Redmi K60 Ultra features an independent graphics chip called X7 developed with Pixelworks that helps it achieve a native frame rate of 144 FPS in 30 games (over 100 through frame rate interpolation). The X7 chip also helps with clarity in games.
Xiaomi hasn’t explicitly mentioned whether the panel is LCD or OLED, but since the Redmi K60 Ultra features an in-display fingerprint reader, it’s safe to say it’s the latter. The screen also has DCI-P3 coverage and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content.
On the back, we have a camera island that houses three cameras: 54MP (50MP effective) Sony IMX800 primary with OIS and 8K HDR10+ recording, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. The camera island has what Xiaomi calls a metal dome DECO design as its sides are extended downwards. For selfies and video calls, you get a 20MP camera.
Keeping the whole package up and running is a 5,000mAh battery advertised to have 1.32 days of battery life and charge to 100% in 19 minutes with the supplied 120W charger. Xiaomi has used its self-developed P1 chip for fast charging and G1 chip for battery management on the Redmi K60 Ultra.
The rest of the highlights of the Redmi K60 Ultra include 5G connectivity, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6 and multifunctional NFC. It also features 5000mm² stainless steel VC cooling, stereo speakers, dual-band GPS and NavIC. Furthermore, the Redmi K60 Ultra has an IP68 rating, making it the first Redmi smartphone with that level of ingress protection.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is available in white, black and green colors with five memory options: 12GB/256GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB and 24GB/1TB at the price of CNY 2,599 ($355/€325/INR 29,910), CNY 2,799 ($385/€350/INR 32,210), CNY 2,999 ($410/€375/INR 34,515), CNY 3,299 ($450/€415/INR 37,965) and CNY 3,599 ($495/€450/INR 41,420), respectively.

The Redmi K60 Ultra will be sold in China via Xiaomi’s official Chinese website, but we are still waiting to hear about its availability in other markets.
