Xiaomi will accelerate the announcement of the Xiaomi 14 series from December to early November. Second Digital chat station on Weibo, Series 14 will almost certainly be released before November 11 (or Double 11), the popular Singles’ Day sales event.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 were released on December 14th. According to the source, the popularity of the 13 series is the main reason why Xiaomi will announce the 14 series first. The 13 series have reportedly achieved their sales goals in just 9 months.
The other prerequisite for the Xiaomi 14 series is the announcement of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, scheduled for October 24. This could mean that the Xiaomi 14 series will be the first to receive the latest chipset.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 14 devices will likely bring a larger main camera sensor: 50MP 1/1.28”.
The Xiaomi 14 will have a 4,860 mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The 14 Pro will have a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
