Xiaomi unveiled the Civi 2 in September as a selfie-focused smartphone. It has dual front facing cameras and dual LED flashes built into the top bezel and comes with four nice colors.
Today, the company has revealed a new release: Hello Kitty Special Limited Edition. It is already available for pre-order on the Xiaomi China website, but sadly it will remain exclusive to the domestic scene.
Xiaomi Civic 2
The Xiaomi Civi 2 is the same inside: a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There are three cameras on the back, the main one having a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. Still in focus are the dual cameras up front, both with 32MP sensors, one with AF, the other with a 100-degree field of view.
The smartphone will start selling on February 9 on Xiaomi’s website. It is priced at CNY 2,799 ($410), which was the original cost of the base 12/256GB versions, which are now slightly discounted to CNY 2,699 (just under $400).
