In December, Xiaomi unveiled its latest pair of high-end smartphones, the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. That unveiling was only for the Chinese market, however, and we’re still waiting for these two to be introduced to global markets. That may happen sooner rather than later now that global models of these phones are starting to be certified in countries other than China.
The global Xiaomi 13 Pro has been identified both in the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and in the Thai NBTC. The model number of this phone is 2210132G. The Xiaomi 13 has also been certified by NBTC, with the model number 2211133G. Either way, that trailing “G” stands for “global,” in case you were wondering.

Based on these certifications, it seems that the vanilla Xiaomi 13 might not be headed to India, at least not initially alongside its Pro sibling. This is a strange strategy from Xiaomi, but this is obviously just speculation at the moment, let’s wait for some information officers before jumping to conclusions.
If they were to be identical in specifications to their brothers intended for the Chinese market, here are the specifications of the two devices. The Xiaomi 13 features a 6.36-inch 1080×2400 120Hz OLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 8/12GB RAM, 128/256/512GB storage, a triple rear camera system (50MP with OIS, 12MP ultrawide, 10MP 3.2x optical zoom), 32MP selfie snapper and 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging support.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro shares many of these specs, but has a larger 6.73-inch 1440×3200 display, a 4,820mAh battery with 120W wired charging, and a completely different rear camera setup, with a 50. 3MP with OIS, one 50MP ultrawide with autofocus for macro, and a 50MP 3.2x optical zoom lens.
