Xiaomi today hosted its second ground launch event of the year in India, where it presented the Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 5 to Indian customers.

Xiaomi 12 Pro will go on sale in India starting May 2 via Mi.com, Mi Home stores, Amazon.in and other retail partners across the country.

Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and immediately runs the Android 12-based MIUI 13. It sports a 6.73 “120 Hz AMOLED QHD + LTPO 2.0 screen, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Speaking of specs, the Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with the Snapdragon 860 chip, starts the MIUI 13 for Pad and packs an 11 “QHD + LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate.

And since it’s a tablet, we don’t have a multi-camera setup like smartphones, but there is still a single 13MP camera on the back of the Pad 5 and an 8MP drive on the front for selfies and video calling.
