Welcome to another week’s roundup. Samsung has released the repairability score of its as-yet-unannounced Galaxy A54 and it’s a solid 8.4 out of 10. Great news for the many potential buyers of Samsung’s soon to be popular midranger.
Even better news is the reported return of the Samsung Fan Edition phone. From Korean outlet The Elect, it seems that Samsung will unveil a Galaxy S23 FE edition in the second half of the year. The report claims that Samsung will give up the Galaxy A74 and focus on the Galaxy S23 FE.
We got our first look at the iPhone 15 Pro thanks to the leaked CAD schematics. They show off a slightly more curved phone with rounded edges that are cut flat on current models. The renders show thinner screen bezels and a USB-C port – finally! Of course, these are just leaked renders which may not reflect the final result.
Let’s go back to Samsung. The company has recorded a record number of pre-orders in its home market of South Korea. According to the numbers, Samsung has received 1.09 million pre-orders, an increase of 7% from last year’s Galaxy S22 series. This was only surpassed by the Galaxy Note10 family in 2019 with 1.4 million pre-orders. Even better for Samsung, the Galaxy S23 Ultra accounted for 60% of all orders.
Oppo launched Find N2 Flip globally this week. Now buyers in Europe can go ahead and pre-order the 8/256GB trim flip-foldable. Shipments will start from March 2 onwards.
