The front of the vivo Y02A is occupied by a 6.51-inch LCD with 720p resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera. There’s a camera on the back — an 8MP shooter on a circular island, alongside an LED flash.

The vivo Y02A is powered by Mediatek’s modest Helio P35 chipset. RAM is 3GB and storage is 32GB, although there is a dedicated microSD slot to expand this.

The operating system is Funtouch OS 12, above the barebones Android 12 Go Edition.

Connectivity is limited to LTE and you get dual nanoSIM slots with Dual Standby; the phone supports Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies and comes with Bluetooth 5.0. Charging is limited to 10W, but the USB cable is provided in the box.

The Y02A is essentially the global variant of the vivo Y11 (2023), which was announced last week. The vivo Y02A is available for the first time in Bangladesh and costs 12,499 BDT, which is just under $120/€110. The color options are Cosmic Gray and Orchid Blue, and both are already on sale on the company’s website .
