vivo has not yet revealed the Indian prices of the X80 and X80 Pro, but the company says the smartphones will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. Although you can also expect them to be available for purchase via vivo’s official Indian website and retail stores across the country.
Another bit confirmed live is the processor of the X80 Pro. The smartphone was announced with two chipsets: Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. And it will be the latter that will power the Indian units, which is not surprising since the model Malaysian also has Qualcomm’s flagship silicon at the helm, while the Dimensity 9000 variant remains exclusive to China for now.
The vanilla X80, on the other hand, comes with the Dimensity 9000 SoC regardless of region. However, while the Chinese versions of the X80 and X80 Pro run OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12, their global counterparts start FuntouchOS 12.
