We just reviewed the vivo V29 but we got our hands on the Starry Purple color version and thought you might want to see how it looks in person.
The v29 is available in four colors: Space Black, Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red and this Starry Purple, also called Purple Fairy, depending on the market.
The unit we have is the top-of-the-line 12/512GB model, but otherwise it’s the same, capable midranger with a Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC and a 4,600mAh battery and 80W charger bundled. In the package there is also a case and a USB cable.
The purple model is very cute. As with the blue model, subtle waves of texture are also present in the rear panel design. They seem to move when you tilt the phone from different angles.

Unlike the frosted texture of the black model, the purple and blue have a glossy finish.
One of the main selling points of the vivo V29 is the Aura light on the back. It features a separate dedicated set of LEDs that can automatically adjust its temperature based on the ambient light, and you can also change it manually if you want.
