The Google Pixel 7 has finally arrived in the office and we have already started work on our full review. But first, unboxing. For the price of € 649 / $ 599 you get the phone in a 64GB version, a USB-C cable and a USB-A to USB-C dongle.

The Pixel 7 is not as stark a successor to the Pixel 6 as is the 7 Pro from the 7. For starters, the phone features a smaller screen – 6.3-inch vs 6.4-inch – and battery: 4,355mAh vs. 4,614 mah. That means you get a smaller phone, though: 10g lighter, nearly 3mm shorter, 1.6mm narrower, and slightly thinner. This could be a great incentive for people after a small phone.

But on the other hand, the € 459 / $ 449 Google Pixel 6a is properly smaller than last year’s Pixel 6 and this year’s 7.

The Pixel 7 has a wider selfie camera and better main camera than the Pixel 6a, and is powered by the faster Tensor G2 chip. But in addition to saving money by using the Pixel 6a, you’d get better battery life – the smaller phone has a bigger battery!
