Four Redmi Note 12 models are expanding into the European market – here’s a look at which models have made the journey and how much they cost. Starting at the top, we have the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12, as well as a brand new 4G-only model also called the Redmi Note 12. We’ll cover the 4G model in detail in a separate article.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and its 200MP camera will start at €500 for a unit with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This model comes with a 120W charger and a relatively large 5,000mAh battery. The Discovery Edition, the one with an even faster 210W charger (and smaller 4,300mAh battery) won’t be joining it (not that we expected).

The Redmi Note 12 Pro costs 20% less at €400, albeit with just 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Also, compared to the plus model, this one has a 50MP main camera (with a slightly smaller sensor, but still has OIS) and the 5,000mAh battery that charges at 67W. What kind of difference does it make? Full time ranges from 19 minutes to 46 minutes.

The vanilla Redmi Note 12 – note that this is the 5G one, not the new 4G model – will start with another €100 less and a 4/128GB unit will cost you €300. It’s also important to note that this isn’t the Note 12 from China but an improved version: it has Gorilla Glass 3, a microSD slot and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, things the Chinese model lacks.

For the sake of completeness, the Redmi Note 12 4G will start at €200, but again we’ll cover that in more detail in a separate post.

To put things into perspective, the Redmi Note 11 Pro (4G, Helio G96) started at €330 for a 6/128GB unit, the 5G version (Snapdragon 695) cost €370. Both models came with 108MP cameras (without OIS) and 5,000mAh batteries with 67W charging.

One last thing: the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed variant will not arrive in Europe either.
