The upcoming OnePlus 12 was leaked today in CAD-based renders. The smartphone will be the first OnePlus to feature a periscope zoom camera, as has been rumored a few times in the past.
The design of the camera module is very reminiscent of the OnePlus 11, only with the changes required by the presence of the periscope. The main and ultrawide sensors are located in the top “row” of the island, next to each other, while the periscope occupies the bottom “row” by itself. The Hasselblad collaboration is still going strong and the logo can be found between these “lines”.
The screen is slightly curved and the hole for the selfie camera is centered, which, believe it or not, is a huge change for OnePlus, as the 11 also has it on the left side. The display is tilted to measure 6.7″, and obviously will be a QHD+ OLED at 120Hz.
The OnePlus 12 will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which is expected to be unveiled in October. According to recent leaks, the OnePlus 12 will have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W or 150W wired fast charging.
The main and ultrawide cameras are both said to have 50MP resolution, while the periscope zoom camera is said to opt for a 64MP OmniVision sensor. Selfies must be taken care of by a 32MP snapper.
