Another week in the books and several new smartphone announcements to cover – here are the new phones of week 33.

Starting the list chronologically is the vivo Y35, a Snapdragon 680 midranger with fast charging of 44 W. It gets a 6.58 “IPS LCD with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. a 50MP main cam along with a 2MP macro module and 2MP depth support.

The phone boots FuntouchOS 12 (based on Android 12) and packs a 5,000mAh battery with the aforementioned 44W fast charging. The vivo Y35 is already on open sale in Indonesia. You can withdraw one unit for IDR 3,300,000 ($ 225 / € 220 / ₹ 18,000).

Xiaomi has released a new global version of the Poco M4 5G with some slightly changed specifications compared to the Indian variant of the same phone – look at the differences. The only changes come in the camera department where the global variant has a 13MP main shooter and a 5MP selfie cam in place of the Indian model’s 50MP main sensor and 8MP front camera.

Poco M4 5G is offered in three colors: black, blue and the distinctive POCO Yellow. Pricing is set at € 219 (4GB / 64GB) and € 249 (6GB / 128GB) for European markets.

Next up is another pair of vivo smartphones: vivo V25 and vivo V25 Pro. The standard V25 model gets a 6.44-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, while the Pro has an AMOLED 6.56-inch with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a more capable Dimensity 1300 SoC.

Both V25 models have 64MP main cams with OIS although the Pro model gets a 12MP ultrawide module compared to the V25’s 8MP. The selfie cam on the V25 is a 50MP sensor while the Pro gets a 32MP module. Both phones launch Funtouch 12 based on Android 12. Battery supremacy goes to the V25 Pro with its 4,830mAh cell with 66W of charging compared to the V25’s 4,500mAh cell with 44W of charging.

Sadly, vivo hasn’t shared details on pricing and availability of the new V25 models at this point.

Oppo has announced a new Reno8 smartphone in Indonesia: the Reno8 4G. The device comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 680 chipset, and a 4,500mAh battery with 33W charging.

The other new vivo smartphone this week is the vivo V77e (T1), a device similar to the vivo Y77e launched earlier but with a new 50MP main camera and a single 8GB / 256GB memory configuration. It still has a 6.58-inch LCD with FHD + resolution and a Dimensity 810 chipset. The rest of the specs include a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging and an 8MP selfie cam.
