iQOO would be working on a new variant to add to its popular Z6 range. Rumors are still vague, but they claim that the iQOO Z6 5G will offer 80W fast charging. The iQOO Z6 5G would join a current trio of siblings within the Z6 line. There is the iQOO Z6 Pro with its 66W charging, the iQOO Z6, a 4G phone with 44W charging, and the iQOO Z6 5G, which was unveiled in India in March with an 18W charging. .
Since the name iQOO Z6 5G is already in use, hopefully this means that the new device will have a different name. A few days ago, an unannounced iQOO Z6x was spotted alongside a vivo X80 Lite 5G in the list of supported devices by Google Play. Maybe there is a connection there.
We still don’t know much about this upcoming iQOO Z6 5G variant other than its charging speed. We expect the phone to be equipped with a 120Hz LCD display, a 5,000mAh battery, and a rear triple camera setup with a 64MP main snapper. There are also rumors of a Snapdragon 7 series chipset. Hopefully we will get more information as we get closer to a release.
