The Infinix Note 30 VIP is official, bringing the company’s all-round fast charging to the mid-range. It doesn’t run at its full 260W speed – in fact it isn’t even faster wired than its predecessor – but it does add fast 50W wireless charging, which is unheard of at these prices.

Infinix Note 30 VIP’s 5,000mAh battery can support 68W wired charging. 50W wireless charging can charge 50% of the battery in just 30 minutes, while with 68W wired connection at full capacity, you will get from 1% to 80% in the same amount of time.

The innovation goes even beyond sheer speed – the Note 30 VIP supports bypass charging – when the battery reaches 30%, the charge current can bypass the battery and go directly to the motherboard. This reduces overheating while charging and playing at the same time. Infinix says the feature can reduce temperature by 7°. Pair that with the built-in 2890mm² liquid cooling vapor chamber and the Infinix Note 30 VIP should easily keep its cool while gaming.

Back to the battery: The Infinix Note 30 VIP battery is rated to retain 80% of its capacity after 1,000 charge cycles, which is 25% more than the industry standard of 800 cycles, and should give users peace of mind for at least 3 years.
