Here we are, our first look at the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 through what appear to be the official press renders.
The first two images are courtesy of Evan Blass in collaboration with 91Mobile phones. The first is of the Galaxy Z Fold4 in what should be the official launch colors: Phantom Black on the left, Beige in the center and “Gray-green” on the right.
The render shows a nearly indistinguishable design from the Galaxy Z Fol3: a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the right rail, a volume rocker above it, while on the top left is a SIM tray.
The other image shows the Galaxy Z Flip4 in gray, purple, gold and light blue. Again, there doesn’t seem to be much difference in appearance compared to the Galaxy Z Flip3.
The next rendering is from MySmartPriceand reveals a lot more than the colors and bottom of the phone. Namely, the secondary screen, which appears slightly larger than the current phone’s external screen. This is said to be a 2.1-inch, while the Galaxy Z Flip3 is a 1.9-inch.
And here’s a bonus print render from Baba price. Maintains continuity from 91Mobile phones‘makes it, so let’s assume it’s legitimate. If these renders prove to be true, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 will be nearly identical to their predecessors.
What we know so far is that both phones will have the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and that Samsung will introduce them on August 10th. The Galaxy Z Fol4 is expected to get better cameras: 50MP wide, 12MP ultrawide and 10MP 3x tele, plus a 10MP external selfie and a 16MP under-display camera inside, which will take 4MP images with pixels. A promising rumor points to a thinner hinge and slightly wider screens.
As for the Galaxy Z Flip4, expect more or less the same screen and cameras, but an increase in battery and charging capacity: a 3,800mAh or 3,900mAh battery and a 25W charge.
