A new report on the Pixel 8 family has just arrived, revealing the European storage options along with their respective prices. We also have color options. However, the bad news is that the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro will likely be more expensive than their predecessors.

Of course, the price increase is quite significant if we are to trust the source. The Pixel 8 with 128 GB of storage space will ask for 874 euros with VAT at 23%, while the 256 GB variant reaches 949 euros. The Pixel 7 at launch started at €650. The Pixel 8 Pro is said to launch at €1,235 for just 128GB of storage and will ask €1,309 for the 256GB iteration. The 512GB model will even cost you €1,461. For reference, the Pixel 7 Pro launched at €900.

To be honest, these price increases seem a bit absurd, so let’s take these results with a good dose of skepticism.

The information on color options, however, seems reliable. The smaller Pixel will be available in Hazel, Obsidian, Rose, and Mint colors, while the Pro model has Bay, Obsidian, Porcelain, and Mint paints.

Some recent rumors regarding the pair suggest that Google is preparing a Night Sight video to integrate Night Sight for photos, so it will be interesting to see what Google has come up with. And rumors that the phones would be eSIM only turn out to be false, so the physical SIM card tray remains for now.
