Tecno has introduced its first horizontal folding smartphone called the Phantom V Fold and is now about to follow it up with the clamshell model Phantom V Flip. Today we received a report that a case manufacturer is already selling accessories for the phone, revealing its design.
The new Tecno smartphone will have a display with a circular cover, around which we should see two cameras and an LED flash.

The unusual camera placement makes us wonder what’s on the side of the O-shaped island. So far, the design seems unusual, but we always appreciate companies that try to make their devices stand out from the crowd.
The images also reveal a flat power button that will double as a fingerprint scanner instead of the sensor being located under the folding panel. There is a selfie camera behind a punch-hole and the bottom will have the USB-C port.

It’s worth mentioning that all these images are pattern-based renderings. This means that although the dimensions and position of the functional elements are exact, the finish may be far from reality. We’ll have a better idea once Tecno decides to say more about the Phantom V Flip, which should be soon.
