Yesterday vivo became the first company to officially unveil a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered phone. It’s just one of several brands expected to launch 8 Gen 2 devices later this year, and that list includes its cousin iQOO. The iQOO 11 series will be unveiled on December 2, based on an invitation we received.
There is also apparently a poster floating around the web, confirming the date but also showing one of the iQOO 11 models. The white body with the racing stripes is instantly recognizable as an iQOO phone.
For this generation, iQOO will keep the rectangular camera island, but it seems that it will drop the carbon fiber decoration around it. Here is the iQOO 10 Pro for comparison (the Legend Edition in particular):
We have seen some leaks about the iQOO 11 series. The vanilla model will supposedly include a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel (Samsung E6) with QHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It will have a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, as well as an odd 8MP macro cam. And a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, of course. It should also feature vivo’s new V2 ISP (you can see a “V2” label on the back). The vanilla model is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery that charges at 120W, while the iQOO 11 Pro could go up to 200W with a 4,700mAh battery.
