The Pova 5 features a futuristic design that Tecno calls the Turbo Mecha. The lines are reminiscent of the giant mecha robot from popular science fiction.

The Tecno Pova 5 is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging support. The included brick can get the phone to 50% in 21 minutes and max out in 60 minutes. And, if you’ve got a little extra battery left, the Pova 5 can reverse-charge other devices via cable at up to 10W.

The battery is also backed by Battery Lab 3.0 software for endurance and STS Secure Battery technology for longevity and peace of mind.

MediaTek’s 6nm Helio G99 is at the helm and comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone features a total heat dissipation area of ​​10,749mm2 made up of a 1399.65mm2 vapor chamber and a 9349.39mm2 graphene heat sink.

The display of the Tecno Pova 5 is a 6.78 inch 1080x24460px IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The Tecno Pova 5 has a 50MP camera on the back, accompanied by a depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera on the front.

There are also such niceties as a linear vibration motor on z-axis and dual speakers with DTS Sound.

Tecno will offer the Pova 5 in select countries in Hurricane Blue, Amber Gold and Mecha Black. The price has not yet been officially announced.
