Following the debut of the Xperia 5 IV last week, Sony is now anticipating a new launch event for Monday 12 September. The event will be related to games, and judging by the teaser, we could see a new gaming phone with shoulder triggers or a gaming accessory for current Xperia phones.
The event teaser has an esports player from Japanese team Scarz playing on the upcoming device. The slogan of the event is “Made for Pro gamer and streamer”. That’s all the information we have for now, so we’ll have to wait for more details to arrive in the September 12 event.
