Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold4 has been leaking a lot lately and today we get yet another tidbit of information about it. According to the latest rumors, the foldable smartphone will have a version with 1 TB of storage space.

That’s double the Galaxy Z Fold3’s maximum storage space and would probably cover those who like to hoard digital content on their devices well too. It’s unclear on what price Samsung will settle for the Fold4, but for reference the Fold3’s 512GB model launched at $ 1,899. If the 512GB Fold4 stays the same price at launch, expect the 1TB model to fetch at least $ 1,999, if not $ 2,049 or even $ 2,099.

The amount of storage is important because the Fold3 does not have a microSD card slot and its successor is very likely to join that club. So what you get when you buy the phone is the most you’ll ever get, which means more flexibility in offering more options is a good move on Samsung’s part. Obviously since this is just a rumor at this point, don’t take it too seriously.

We previously heard that the Fold4 would be lighter than the Fold3 and would be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Keeping the lights on is supposedly a 4,400mAh battery.
