Samsung has unveiled a new special edition of the Galaxy Watch6 Classic dubbed the “Astro Edition”. It is inspired by the astrolabe, an ancient instrument that helped scientists and travelers tell the time and find their bearings.
This will be the first special edition Galaxy Watch for the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The astrolabe was chosen because it “symbolizes the region’s legacy of scientific and innovative contributions, particularly in the fields of time, astronomy and mathematics”.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition is only available in the 47 mm size and features a “Black Astro” bezel, an additional fabric strap, Astro Edition collectibles and, of course, exclusive watch faces and software features. This includes a compass complication, lunar and solar trackers. In addition, by purchasing the Astro Edition you will have access to Samsung’s exclusive VIP promotional shop.

The Astro Edition watch will be available in several MENA markets, including UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Morocco.
The Galaxy Watch6 Classic Astro Edition will be available on Samsung.com starting today, with pricing and additional launch details available at local affiliates.
