Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy M53 smartphone and now it’s time for the device to hit the store shelves. The first major market confirmed for the mid-range phone in India: will arrive on April 22nd.
The Galaxy M53 has borrowed some specs from its big brother Galaxy A73, including the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED + screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery. There’s also a 108MP main camera and a 32MP selfie shooter, but other than that, the specs are pretty straightforward.
The quad-cam setup on the rear is complemented by an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and two 2MP shooters for macro and portrait photos. The chipset would be Dimensity 900 with two 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 cores and the memory is 6 GB RAM + 128 GB of storage.
We don’t know how much the Galaxy M53 would cost in India, but given the INR24,999 ($ 325) cost of the predecessor, we expect the new price to be on the same playing field.
