Samsung has released the Android 12 update for the entry-level Galaxy M01 smartphone since 2020.
The firmware, M015GXXU4CVF6, carries the June 2022 security patch and OneUI 4.0. Mind you, this isn’t the full OneUI you’d find on Samsung’s more expensive smartphones, but it does make a big visual improvement over the Android 11 going on on the Galaxy M01.
The update is currently active for Indian users. Other markets are expected to get it in the coming weeks.
This is the latest OS update for the Galaxy M01, which came with Android 10 in June 2020. But Samsung will continue to send security patch updates to the device.
