A couple of days ago a detailed leak gave us an idea of what Motorola has in store for the Edge 40 series. The Pro model will be a global variant of the Chinese X40, the vanilla Motorola Edge 40 will be a new model brand new.

The vanilla phone is expected to feature a new Dimensity 8020 chipset, making it a mid-ranger (compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-based Edge 40 Pro). It will be equipped with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
