The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G that we’ve been hearing about since last year has moved a step closer to launch as it has been certified by Thailand’s NBTC.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G unit that has achieved NBTC certification has the model number SM-A556E/DS, where “DS” indicates dual-SIM support. The Thai certification authority does not reveal anything else about the smartphone, but the same model has also obtained FCC certification, confirming 25W charging support.
