Samsung launched a new special edition of the Galaxy Watch5, called the Golf Edition in August. This version of the wearable came with a black body and new bands, as well as some golfer-tailored features via the Smart Caddy app.
It’s already on sale in South Korea and the US, and now the UK is finally getting it too.
The Galaxy Watch5 Golf Edition is available in all three versions: vanilla in 40mm and 44mm sizes and in the 45mm Pro variant. The main difference from the regular versions is the software, as the wearable comes with the pre-installed Smart Caddy, which has a database of over 40,000 routes worldwide.
It offers golf tracking, coaching, visual and audio cues for a better game experience, and all the other features that Watch5 already offers as a Samsung wearable. All versions are Bluetooth only and do not differ in weight, memory or other specifications from the non-Golf versions.
Samsung is offering the 40mm Galaxy Watch5 variant for £319, while the 44mm version is £339. The Galaxy Watch5 Pro Golf Edition costs £479. All options are available to pre-order on Samsung’s website, while sales they start on January 26th.
