Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series yesterday, but it is only now that the Indian division has released the detailed prices for the Asian country. And it brings good news and bad news.

The bad news is that all versions have had a price increase compared to the Galaxy S22 series. It’s a relatively smaller INR 2,000 on the vanilla S22, INR 10,000 more noticeable on the Galaxy S22+, and INR 15,000 quite significant on the Ultra.

The good news is that the Plus and Ultra models come with 256GB more memory over those base versions, so unless you’re planning on getting a 128GB unit, the difference isn’t huge. India is also getting 12GB of RAM on the 256GB Ultra which is a nice bonus.

Here is the detailed breakdown:

India (all prices in INR)
Galaxy S23 Galaxy S23+ Galaxy S23 Ultra
8/128GB 74,999
8/256GB 79,999 94,999
8/512GB 104,999
12/256GB 124,999
12/512GB 134,999
12GB/1TB 154,999

The Galaxy S23 is available in four colors: black, cream, green and lavender. The Galaxy S23+ only gets the Black and Cream option, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra gets all of them, including four exclusive to Samsung.com: Red, Graphite, Lime, and Sky Blue, but they’re only for the 256GB version.

Also, Samsung India offers pre-order packages for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. For just INR 4,999 more, the company offers a Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE and Buds Pro 2, a 25W adapter and a Solo wireless charger.

The Galaxy S23+ can be paired with a Bluetooth-only Watch4 for ₹4,999, while S23 buyers can get the wearable for just ₹2,999.

If you trade in your old smartphone, Samsung will further reduce the price with between INR 8,000 and INR 60,000, depending on the device.
