The upcoming renders of the Xiaomi 13 reveal that the company is moving in a different design direction for its next-generation premium series. According to these it makes of CompareDial And OnLeaksthe Xiaomi 13 will have flat sides and a flat display.

The new design direction is all too familiar and currently in vogue thanks to recent iPhone generations. The front of the phone has a flat surface and sharp edges with a minimal bezel along with a perforated camera centrally located at the top.

Meanwhile, the sides of the phone have also been flattened to create a somewhat boxy, slab-like appearance. Unlike the iPhone, however, the rear glass still has a slight curve around the edges, so it should be a little easier to hold.

The camera island has also been updated, once again to the familiar large square shape with lenses populating three of the four corners.

We also have the dimensions; the phone will measure 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3mm. The bump of the camera takes it to 10.3mm thick. The phone is also rumored to work with the latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

The Xiaomi 13 is expected to launch this month. For more images and a 360 degree 3D rendering, check out the link below.
