A few hours ago, leaked schematics depicted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A05 with two rear cameras and the A05 with three. Previously, the A05 was also spotted in a Google Play Console listing, again with two rear sensors. Today, some renders were released that appear to be official promotional images for the A05, showing the device in all the colors it will be sold in.
The Galaxy A05, as you can see, will be offered in black, silver and light green – these are obviously not the official names, we’re sure Samsung will think of something more eye-catching.
The renders reveal the fact that the phone will feature a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie snapper. Furthermore, there is a rather significant “chin” below the display. Oh, and it’s no surprise that you can play games with this phone.
That said, it remains to be seen how well you’ll be able to play games, since the device will likely use the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, as revealed by a Geekbench analysis in early August.
According to previous rumors, the A05 will have a 6.7″ HD+ screen, 4/6 GB of RAM, 64/128 GB of storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor built into the power button and a 5,000 mAh battery. According to the source of today’s leak, this will support charging at 25W and not 15W as previously rumored.
