Oukitel’s latest phone is here with the WP21 and it offers a mix of the usual rugged phone specs like water and dust resistance and a big 9,800mAh battery with a few other tricks like a second AMOLED screen on the back and the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.
Oukitel WP21 offers a 6.78-inch FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the back houses a second AOD screen that can show notifications, music controls and even act as a camera viewfinder. Oukitel also offers several distinct watch faces for the secondary screen.
The rear also carries a 64MP main camera with a Sony IMX 686 sensor along with a 20MP night vision module and a 2MP macro camera.
Oukitel WP2 is IP68 and IP69K rated as well as MIL-STD-810H compliant so that you can use it in all kinds of climates and conditions. The phone won’t win any awards for thinness, as it measures 177.3 x 84.3 x 14.8 mm and weighs 398 grams.

The 9,800mAh battery is rated for up to 1,150 hours of standby time and 12 hours of continuous video playback. You can charge other devices via an OTG cable while on the go. Oukitel WP21 is offered with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage expandable via microSD slot. The phone also comes with NFC, GNSS positioning, Bluetooth 5.0, and launches Android 12.
Pricing is set at $280 and the phone is already listed on AliExpress as open sales begin Nov. 24.
