Oppo is teasing the Indian launch of its Reno10 series by touting the Reno10 Pro+’s 64MP periscopic zoom camera.

It’s a 64 MP f/2.5 periscope with a half-inch (1/2″) sensor and 0.7 µm pre-binned pixels. It’s a 3x zoom with a 120x hybrid zoom option. Oppo claims that its periscope is 0.96 mm thinner than competitive periscopes, and that it is the highest megapixel unit in the segment.

The other cameras are expected to be a 50MP f1/8 main camera with a 1/1.56″ Sony IMX890 sensor, an 8MP 2/2″ IMX355 sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera.

Oppo unveiled the Reno10 series in China. There are three units: Reno10, Reno10 Pro and Reno10 Pro+. They are all expected to launch globally, including India, but we could see some changes: the Pro model could replace the Dimension 8200 with the Snapdragon 778G.

The Pro+ may end up with the same specs. That would mean a 6.74-inch 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with up to 16GB of RAM, and a 4,700mAh battery with 100W charging.
