The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 unveiled last August came with a 1.9″ display and Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), said the Galaxy Z Flip5 will have a larger 3″ screen. While Ross did not provide a specific number for the panel’s biased and reliable whistleblower Ice universe corroborated Young’s claim, stating that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5’s external display will be larger than that of the Oppo Find N2 Flip, which measures 3.26″ diagonally.

Young had also said that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will have a different hinge design to “reduce the visibility of the seam,” but how much that will help reduce the feel of the crease remains to be seen.

Going back to the Oppo Find N2 Flip, this vertically foldable smartphone made its international debut last week, becoming Oppo’s first foldable smartphone to be launched outside of China. It’s powered by the Dimensity 9000+ SoC, sports a 6.8-inch 120Hz FullHD+ foldable display, and packs a 4,300mAh battery with 44W wired charging.

The Find N2 Flip is equipped with three cameras (50MP primary + 8MP ultrawide + 32MP selfie) and has a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. You can read our Oppo Find N2 Flip review to learn more or watch the video review linked below.
