The Oppo Reno9 series is already in the works and will reportedly come with a 4,500mAh battery and a unified charging standard. Now spy photos of the phone have appeared online, revealing most of its design and some extra details.

The main change, coming from the Reno8, is the more conventional camera island design, although the cameras themselves retain the same alignment.

The phone has a hole in the center, which was only a feature of the Reno8 Pro variants, but is now spreading through the ranks. Unfortunately, we’ve heard little about the vanilla Reno9’s interior and camera setup.

The Oppo Reno9 Pro + is reportedly powered by a Dimensity 8000 and will have a 50MP camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, which is widely used across the entire Oppo smartphone portfolio. The Pro + and regular Pro are expected to debut in China next month with the vanilla we’re seeing here taking a little longer to go official.
