Oppo A17 appeared in the leaks over the weekend and is now official. The smartphone comes with a Mediatek chipset, a large battery and two cameras, and its main selling point is the rear panel which has a texture that mimics leather.
The Oppo A17 is built around a 6.56-inch LCD display with HD + resolution and standard refresh rate of 60Hz. There is a teardrop notch for the 5MP f / 2.2 selfie camera with fixed focus. . The rear has a 50MP f / 1.8 main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The chipset is a Helio G35, corresponding to the A16, A16 and A16K. The RAM is 4GB, while the storage space is 64GB.

The full datasheet has yet to be loaded, so we’re not sure if a microSD slot is present or not. However, we know that the Oppo A17 has two SIM slots.
The A17’s battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and is charged via a micro USB port. Other highlights include a fingerprint scanner built into the power key and ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12. The leather back is available in Lake Blue and Midnight Black colors.

The phone is currently available in Malaysia for MYR599, which is around $ 130. It is also on pre-order in Singapore, but pricing has yet to be confirmed.
