OnePlus 12 is probably just around the corner, at least in the Chinese market, judging by the intense leaks and official teasers lately. The latest reveal comes directly from OnePlus on Weibo, highlighting the phone’s camera prowess and excellent display.

As previously reported, a brand new Sony LYT-808 sensor will debut on the OnePlus 12 and according to the teaser, the sensor is developed in collaboration with OnePlus, it’s not just Sony’s work. The main camera is considered the best in its class and will be joined by a large 64 MP 1/2.0″ sensor paired with a telephoto lens. The lens itself is manufactured using a new cutting-edge process, further improving telephoto performance and since it’s marketed as a “periscope” telephoto lens, we can expect a reach beyond the standard 3x.
OnePlus’ cameras will, of course, be optimized by Hasselblad and will use Oppo’s HDR and portrait-related technologies for image processing.

The teaser also briefly talks about the display. OnePlus calls it the 2K ProXDR display, although BOE received more information on the panel a couple of weeks ago.
We don’t have an official release date yet, but it’s clear that the release is imminent.
