Nothing was designed for a more affordable device to complement the Phone (2) in its list. This has been referred to by various leaksters as Phone (2a), and is apparently scheduled to launch at the end of February during MWC Barcelona.

A sketch video of the phone was leaked today, showing us the supposed camera layout, which looks nothing like any previous Nothing device. The Phone (2a) will therefore be more easily identifiable as the cheapest one, which is important for some.

On the back there are three Glyph LED light strips, much smaller than the ones we have on the phone (2), but still nice to get for a mid-range device like this. Speaking of mid-range, it will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 SoC, presumably, which is a perfect fit. The model number is A142 and the screen size is said to be 6.7″.

This device will live or die based on how well people think its price will match its specs, as is the case with most, if not all, mid-range devices. Now that the leaks have begun, perhaps we’ll have some more details soon.
