Motorola is working on an Edge 40 Neo in three Pantone colors, according to a recent leak. Today we learned that the phone has been certified by the FCC and that the US regulation has revealed the battery capacity and charging speed of the midrange.

The QM50’s battery will have a capacity of 5,000 mAh and will support 68W fast charging, as evident by the MC-681N compatible charger. The phone will also have 5G and NFC.

Fast charging speed is nothing new – it was the same as the predecessor Edge 30 Neo. Capacity has increased by 25% compared to the previous generation. When we reviewed the Edge 30 Neo, we found it pleasantly light, and we can only hope that the Edge 40 Neo doesn’t add much weight.

According to previously leaked specs, the screen will be a 6.55-inch P-OLED with 1080p resolution. The chipset will be Dimensity 1050 and the RAM will go up to 12GB with 256GB of storage. The reported price will be 399 euros in Europe, or approximately 430 dollars.
