The Motorola Edge 40, unveiled earlier this month, will be launched in India on May 23rd. It will be sold in Eclipse Black, Nebula Green and Lunar Blue colors in the country through Motorola’s official Indian website, Flipkart, and major retail stores.

The Motorola Edge 40 is powered by the Dimension 8020 SoC, runs Android 13 out of the box, and has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. It’s built around a 6.55-inch FullHD+ OLED display @ 144Hz and packs a 4,400mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.

The Motorola Edge 40 has three cameras for photography: 50MP primary (with OIS), 13MP ultrawide, and 32MP selfie camera.

The back panel of the Lunar Blue version uses acrylic plastic, while the Nebula Green and Eclipse Black models sport a vegan leather back. All three variants have IP68 dust and water resistance and come with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
