Mediatek will unveil its new flagship chipset, the Dimension 9200+ on May 10, the company revealed today.

The new platform is probably a small upgrade over the regular 9200. Mediatek has already done something similar with the Dimensity 9000 and 9000+: the more powerful CPU core and GPU got a slight frequency boost while the architecture, memory and the process technology have all remained the same.

If so, the Dimension 9200+ will be built on the 4nm FinFET process and the CPU will have one Cortex-X3 unit, three Cortex-A715 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores. The GPU should remain Immortalis-G715 MC11.

Realme is also holding an event on May 10, and it’s possible the company will be teasing a flagship smartphone with the upcoming Dimension 9200+. Another company rumored to be working on devices running the Mediatek platform is alive, and rumors suggest at least three phones will receive it: the X90S Pro, iQOO Neo8 Pro and iQOO 11S.
