The Poco M5 and Poco M5s will be announced on September 5, the Xiaomi brand revealed earlier this month. And six days before the phones arrived, the M5s appeared in an unboxing video on YouTube.

The reviewer looks at all the main specs and features, and while claiming he doesn’t know more details, he revealed enough to let us know that it’s actually a renamed Redmi Note 10S.

The device is also known as the Redmi Note 11 SE in India, right down to the Helio G95 chipset, AMOLED screen and quad-cam setup on the back.

The Poco M5s has one big difference from its Redmi-named twins: it comes with the latest MIUI 13 over Android 12 out of the box. One version will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and YouTuber has acquired a blue color variant.

It didn’t reveal any further details, but if the phone is indeed the same as the Redmi’s, we can expect a 64MP main camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and a price tag of between $ 160 and $ 175.
