Lava Blaze 5G was unveiled today during India Mobile Congress 2022. It is set to become India’s most affordable 5G smartphone, although the company hasn’t revealed an actual price. The device is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset, which is one of the few differences from the Lava Blaze Pro, which was introduced last month.

The Blaze 5G also has a 6.5-inch LCD with 720p resolution and 90Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint scanner on the side. RAM is 4GB, storage is 128GB. There is a slot for a microSD card.

The phone also has a 50MP main camera on the back and an 8MP selfie shooter on the front. The battery capacity is 5,000mAh and the phone comes with Android 12 out of the box.

Other highlights of the Blaze 5G include a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, space for two SIM cards, and Dual VoLTE.

The phone will be launched for Diwali, which will be celebrated on October 24th. It will come in blue and green and will cost “around INR 10,000,” according to the company – that’s $ 125.
