While the iPhone 15 series is expected to launch later this fall, the iPhone 16 generation rumors have been going on for months now. Well-known Apple analyst Min-Chi Kuo has shared his latest update which suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Plus will offer larger displays and periscope camera sensors.
The iPhone 16 Pro is said to carry a screen diagonal of 6.3 inches, while the panel of the 16 Pro Max is expected to grow to 6.9 inches. These values represent 0.2-inch increases over the iPhone 14 Pro generation.
The larger footprints will also allow Apple engineers to fit a periscope lens to both iPhone 16 Pro models. The updated zoom cameras will reportedly offer up to 5-6x optical zoom and will be supplied by Cowell E Holdings.
Current rumors suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will also offer a periscope lens while the smaller 15 Pro does not. Previous reports predict that the 16 Pro series also carries the Face ID solution under the display, making the full-screen display more immersive.
