The iQOO 11 was launched in December last year and its successor is already in the works. So far we’ve heard that the iQOO 12 would use the OmniVision OV50H sensor for its main rear camera, a 50MP 1/1.28″ sensor with 1.2μm pixels. So, it was rumored that the iQOO 12 would ship with a 64 MP Periscopic zoom camera with OmniVision OV64B sensor.

Today, these specs have been reiterated yet again by China’s prolific Digital Chat Station. It also adds some previously undisclosed new information about the iQOO 12. For example, the fact that it will have a “2K” (read: QHD) resolution E7 OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The phone is also said to feature a metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and 200W wired charging support for a “super large battery.”

According to other rumors, the iQOO 12 should arrive on international markets in the first quarter of 2024, therefore from January until the end of March. It should have four cameras in total on the back, in addition to those already leaked there will also be an ultrawide camera and one with 2x-3x zoom. Previous leaks also claimed that the phone would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

Keep in mind that there is currently some confusion about how many models will be called the iQOO 12 and it looks like it could be two: a 12 and a 12 Pro. In that case, everything you read above is about the Pro model.
