Huawei wrapped up a big announcement event today where we saw the debut of the nova 11 series, Enjoy 60X, and Band 8, but those weren’t the only new devices from the brand. The MateBook D14 and D16 Windows laptops were also unveiled alongside a new flagship smart TV called the Smart Screen S3 Pro.
Huawei MateBook D14 2023 and D16 2023
As the names suggest, the latest members of the MateBook D series are available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes with 16:10 IPS display with 1200 x 1920px resolution and 13-gen Intel processors with Iris Xe graphics. The 14-inch model is configurable with Core i5-1340P and Core i7-1360P CPUs, while the 16-inch version can come with up to a Core i9-1390H CPU.
MateBook D14 2023 and D16 2023
Both laptops come with up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The laptops ship with Windows 11 Home Edition with the D14 2023 featuring a 56Wh battery while the D16 has a 60Wh cell. Both laptops ship with 65W power adapters.

The Huawei MateBook D14 2023 starts at CNY 5,099 ($742) for the 16/512GB model and goes up to CNY 6,099 ($888) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model.
The MateBook D16 2023 starts at CNY 5,699 ($830) for 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage and goes up to CNY 7,199 ($1,048) for the Core i9 model. Open sales in China begin on April 26.
Huawei Smart S3 Pro screen
Huawei’s latest S-series smart TV is available in 65-inch and 75-inch sizes. Both feature 2160 x 3840px resolution LCD panels with a 120Hz refresh rate that boosts up to 240Hz in gaming mode. The new TVs cover 92 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and can output up to 400 nits of brightness.
The software side is covered by HarmonyOS 3.1 and both sizes get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. In terms of I/O, you get 3 HDMI 2.1 outputs, 1 AV input, 1 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 plus an Ethernet port. You also get a magnetically attachable camera for video calling.
Pricing for the 65-inch model is set at CNY 5,999 ($873) while the 75-inch comes in at CNY 7,999 ($1,164).
