Following last week’s announcement of the HTC Wildfire E3 Lite comes another new entry under the HTC brand: the HTC Wildfire E2 Play. The new device has been announced for the African market though exact pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed.

Wildfire E2 Play features a 6.82-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a water drop notch for the 8MP selfie cam. The back houses a 48MP main camera along with a 5MP ultrawide module and dual 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth data. The device is equipped with the Unisoc T606 chipset and 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of storage which is also expandable.
Wildfire E2 Play also brings a distinctive sliding button on the left side which is advertised to reduce screen visibility for select apps to protect your privacy from nosy onlookers. The phone boots Android 12 and features a 4,600mAh battery with 10W charging.
