Honor began the global launch of the Magic4 Pro smartphone last month and the flagship has joined for the journey Watch GS 3 and Earbuds 3 Pro. We have already reviewed the phone and now is the time to see how good the two wearables are.
We have an Honor Watch GS 3 in Classic Gold color which has a gold colored body and brown leather strap, while the Earbuds 3 Pro are in white.

Honor Watch GS 3
The watch was initially unveiled in China in January, and it took Honor a month to unveil it internationally. After another three months, we can finally get one for € 230 / £ 210. We love the 3D curved glass from all angles and the build quality feels solid.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t support wireless charging, and you have to rely on a proprietary charger with two pogo pins, which comes in the retail box.
At 44g the watch is much lighter than expected on the wrist. There are two buttons on the right side with no rotation or other extra controls, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it makes it easier to use. The curved screen allows your finger to slide freely even on the touch screen.
Obviously the smartwatch draws much of its research and development from when Honor was part of the Huawei subsidiary, so you are sure to find a lot of similarities between the Watch GS 3 and the Huawei Watch range. And that’s actually a good thing since Huawei has produced some of the best wearables around in recent years.
The Watch GS 3 also has a lot of ideas from Honor and will be the first test for the now independent company’s ideas in Western markets.
Honor Earbuds 3 Pro
We’ve already reviewed the Choice X Earbuds, but the Earbuds 3 Pro aim much higher.
The design of the earbuds is heavily inspired by Apple, but here we have shorter stems that support gestures for easy control.
One feature that intrigued us was the AI temperature monitoring. It should measure body temperature with an impressive 0.3 ° C margin of error. However, although the Earbuds 3 Pro are currently available for purchase in five European countries, the feature still appears not to be available in the Old Continent.
Hopefully Honor will be able to enable it with a firmware update, but we won’t take that into account in any purchase decision.
There are four modes of noise cancellation: Ultra, Cozy, General and a fourth called “AI Cancellation”, which tries to adjust its strength according to the surrounding environment. A dedicated VPU (Voice Pick Up) sensor improves your voice during calls, reduces ambient noise and also helps remove wind.
The case comes with a 410mAh battery and each gem packs a 42mAh unit. The total weight is only 50 grams, with each gem contributing 5.1g. They feel great in the ear, which is key with buds that have rubber tips. Now we are going to test how they sound and report.
