Honor is working on the Magic6 series and the first live photo of a phone from the range has appeared online. A user on Weibo shared an image revealing that the new Magic6 Pro will look a lot like its predecessor, the Magic5 Pro.

The device has three cameras, aligned in a triangle, of which the upper one has a periscopic lens and between them there is also the writing “100x zoom”. The user also shared a fan-made render, which better explains the overall design of the camera island.

This image is very different from a previously published rendering, suggesting that last week’s story may have been wrong. The new images reveal that Honor will hardly dare and will probably stick to the well-thought-out design and improve in the camera department, as well as bring the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Speaking of cameras, a report suggests that Honor will use OmniVision’s new OV50K sensor which may or may not be 1-inch; we will know more once the Magic6 series launches in the near future. The company has confirmed that we will see a Porsche Design-branded phone in January 2024, which clearly means that will be the date when the new flagship range launches.
