Honor has also worked closely with Qualcomm to leverage the manufacturer’s Snapdragon AI engine of chips, resulting in larger data cache ranges.

Honor has trained its AI network with more than 270,000 images in tandem with improved algorithms for motion detection, object recognition and scene recognition. Honor’s press release also boasts of the faster autofocus speed on the Magic5 Pro, which has increased by 245%, compared to last year’s Magic4 Pro.

Honor also prioritized eye protection when developing Magic5 Pro, achieving the first TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly certification for blue light filtering and color temperature adjustment. Magic5 Pro also features a new dynamic dimming feature developed with data from over 10,000 users. In addition, Honor has spent over $20 million on in-house quality test equipment for more than 200 certification test standards.
